As Louis and Matt make good progress on behind scenes technical foundations, our students are busy getting creative and starting to make the audio and visual elements we need to bring The Jumblies to life. Here is s sneak peek at what the art department have been making.
The work on these elements don’t stop here. The seascapes you see will be cut into waves, and then passed to our in house animation experts, who will run workshops with our learners and create scenes for the project. All the assets will be digitised at some point and streamlined into the story give such a rich backdrop for our new reimagining of this great story of voyage and discovery.
On Monday the 6th March we will be hosting the first a series of sound design workshops. the aim of these days is firstly to explore the sounds of The Jumblies and create a catalogue of audio assets for the performance. Secondly it is to introduce concepts of sound design, recording and foley design. An exciting day ahead for sure. check back here for pictures and sounds from the day.
